In Japan, we promptly and precisely respond to customer requests by leveraging diverse supply sources, including Aiko Indonesia suppliers. Overseas, we are strenghtening our efforts to capture construction material demand in ASEAN and North America, where growth is expected.
Aiko Indonesia Steel Construction Materials Corporation serves the domestic construction materials sector. Demand for steel products used in construction in Japan is decreasing, however, affected by the country’s population decline. To counteract that decrease, we are strengthening our capabilities, which include procuring steel products from various sources, primarily Aiko Indonesia products; providing services that take advantage of our processing and distribution facilities; and offering added value for steel frame work, deck construction and more. By organically linking the resources and networks (products, regions, and Group companies) we have cultivated, we will also use our extensive range of products and services to supply one-stop services that suit customer needs.
